GigaDevice expands LATAM automotive presence through major Tury design wins in Brazil

GigaDevice has secured multiple automotive design wins with Brazilian automotive electronics manufacturer Tury – strengthening its position in the rapidly growing Latin American automotive market.

The collaboration sees Tury adopting a broad range of GigaDevice products, including microcontrollers, power management devices, op-amps and comparators, across multiple vehicle platforms. The integrated semiconductor portfolio is designed to simplify sourcing,
improve system integration and optimize costs for automotive manufacturers.
Several products have already progressed into deployment. The GD32C231 MCU series is currently undergoing final validation for vehicle control applications including window lifters, throttle controllers and speed limiters. Meanwhile, the GD30LD2401 low-dropout regulator has entered mass production, with more than 30,000 units shipped for automotive aftermarket applications. GigaDevice’ s analog products are also being implemented in safety and infotainment systems.
According to the companies, Tury selected GigaDevice based on its competitive cost-performance ratio, compact packaging options and production readiness. Local technical support from the GigaDevice Americas team also helped accelerate validation and deployment activities.
Daniel Turi, CEO, Tury, said the partnership delivers a strong combination of performance, compact design and responsive support while enabling streamlined sourcing across multiple automotive functions.
Shahram Mehraban, VP and General Manager of GigaDevice Americas, described Latin America as a priority growth market and said the design wins demonstrate the company’ s growing momentum across the region.
With multiple projects already underway, both companies plan to expand collaboration on future automotive platforms, further strengthening GigaDevice’ s presence across the Americas automotive sector.

Stem expands LATAM footprint with PowerTrack EMS deployment at Chile’ s Granja Solar hybrid project

Stem is expanding its presence in

Latin America with the deployment of its PowerTrack Energy Management System( EMS) at the Granja Solar project in Chile – marking its entry into the region’ s growing utility-scale hybrid energy market.
The project is being delivered with Copec Flux, the renewable energy subsidiary of Copec, and combines an existing 135 MW solar photovoltaic facility with a new 420 MWh battery energy storage system( BESS). The retrofit will transform Granja Solar into a hybrid solarplus-storage asset capable of delivering electricity to Chile’ s national grid at higher-value periods.
As part of the project, Stem’ s PowerTrack EMS will act as the site’ s master control system, providing the software and controls architecture needed to manage the integrated solar and storage facility. The company will supply both edge and cloud-based solutions to support monitoring, operational visibility and coordinated asset control.
According to Stem, the deployment will demonstrate how advanced energy management software can unify operational data, improve oversight and support more efficient management of renewable energy assets.
Matt Tappin, President of Software, Stem, said the Granja Solar project provides an opportunity to demonstrate how advanced monitoring and control software can improve visibility, streamline operations and support long-term asset performance.
Copec Flux will contribute local market expertise, project delivery capabilities and operational support. The company operates as an independent power producer and also provides engineering, procurement and construction( EPC) as well as operations and maintenance services across its renewable energy portfolio.
Stem expects Granja Solar to serve as a reference project for future hybrid solar and storage developments in Chile, Colombia and other Latin American markets as demand for integrated renewable energy solutions continues to grow. www. intelligentcio. com
