Microsoft ecosystem boosts Mexican cloud, AI initiatives
Microsoft and its ecosystem partners play a central role in the rapid adoption of cloud and AI solutions by enterprises in Mexico, according to new research released by Information Services Group( ISG).
The 2025 ISG Provider Lens Microsoft AI and Cloud Ecosystem report for Mexico finds that enterprises are quickly migrating to cloud computing, with service providers estimating that adoption of cloud solutions is rising more than 25 % per year and likely to keep up that pace in 2026.
As Mexican organizations move to the cloud, demand for the Microsoft 365 productivity suite has grown, the report says. such as finance, healthcare and manufacturing, are becoming more confident about moving to the cloud.
Providers are establishing regional data centers that offer Mexican organizations security, resilience and faster response times. Though companies initially adopted cloud infrastructure for scalability and availability, the report says they are now seeking cloud-based applications to directly improve productivity and business outcomes.
“ Mexico has become a dynamic market for Power Platform as companies embrace business automation,” said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research.
“ Cloud computing has become a major catalyst for change in Mexican enterprises,” said Bill Huber, Partner, Digital Platforms and Solutions, ISG.
“ Advanced AI technologies from Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem partners are helping companies optimize operations and accelerate innovation.”

Geospace Technologies receives permanent reservoir monitoring contract from Petrobras
Geospace Technologies has been awarded a Permanent
Reservoir Monitoring contract award for Mero Fields 3 and 4 from Petrobras, operator of the Mero field Consortium.
The contract encompasses the supply and installation of nearly 500km of the OptoSeis Permanent Reservoir Monitoring( PRM) system covering 140 sq km of seabed area of Mero – located deep offshore in the Santos Basin,
“ We are delighted to be selected by Petrobras and their partners as the technology of choice to deploy over 490 km of our OptoSeis PRM system in deep waters off the coast of Brazil. We look forward to our collaboration over the coming years on this most important and valuable project to maximize and improve the efficiency of reservoir management,” said Rich Kelley, CEO and President, Geospace.
This multi-year contract includes the engineering, procurement, construction and operation of the OptoSeis PRM system.
Installation is included in the contract, to be completed by Blue Marine Telecom, a Brazilian subsea cable company.
The OptoSeis system will be used to monitor and optimize oil production from the Mero field.
Operations in the unitized Mero field are conducted by the Consortium operated by Petrobras, in partnership with Shell Brasil, TotalEnergies, CNODC, CNOOC and Pré-Sal Petróleo S. A( PPSA), as the Brazilian Government’ s representative in the non-contracted area.
