FREECAST TARGETS GLOBAL STREAMING GROWTH WITH 28-CHANNEL BRAZILIAN TV LAUNCH
FreeCast is accelerating its international ambitions with a 28-channel Brazilian television deal, using localized content and its Platform-as-a- Service technology to build a country-by-country streaming ecosystem.
reeCast is taking another step
F towards becoming a global streaming infrastructure provider, announcing an agreement with Rede Brasileira de Televisão Internacional( RBTI) that will bring 28 Brazilian television channels to its platform.
The agreement extends beyond adding another portfolio of channels. For FreeCast, it represents a test case for an international strategy designed to combine local television, global streaming content and shared technology infrastructure within localized digital entertainment ecosystems.
RBTI, the Brazilian Network of International Television, specializes in serving Brazilian audiences outside their home country, particularly diaspora communities in the US and Canada. Its programming includes content from Brazilian broadcaster SBT alongside original programming developed for Brazilians living overseas.
Under the agreement, RBTI’ s 28 channels will sit alongside FreeCast’ s existing portfolio of global free ad-supported streaming television( FAST) channels and free video-on-demand( VOD) programming.
This agreement is an ideal example of what we believe global television should look like in the streaming era. www. intelligentcio. com
