Claro Empresas expands sovereign AI and cloud services in Brazil with Oracle Alloy

Oracle and Claro Empresas are collaborating to offer secure, scalable and regulatory-compliant sovereign AI and cloud services to organisations in Brazil. Focusing on B2B solutions, Claro Empresas launched its enterprise cloud platform, Claro cloud, to help companies accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and Digital Transformation. Based on Oracle Alloy, Claro cloud combines Claro Empresas’ expertise in connectivity, digital services and enterprise support with Oracle’ s AI, cloud and infrastructure technologies.

As organisations across Brazil accelerate their Digital Transformation processes and generate increasing volumes of data, the demand for cloud environments capable of supporting mission-critical workloads is growing. With Oracle Alloy, a complete cloud infrastructure platform that enables companies to become cloud providers, Claro Empresas will be able to offer its own customers more than 200 AI and cloud services from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure( OCI).
The collaboration also gives Claro Empresas a broader role in Brazil’ s enterprise technology market, extending its existing connectivity and digital services capabilities into cloud infrastructure and AI. Through the platform, organisations can access services designed to support applications, data and computing requirements while maintaining local governance. The approach is intended to address growing demand from businesses that want to modernise technology environments without compromising regulatory requirements or control of sensitive information. It also enables Claro Empresas to combine its local enterprise relationships and operational experience with Oracle’ s cloud architecture as customers expand their use of AI technologies.
“ This collaboration represents an important step towards strengthening Claro Empresas’ role as an orchestrator of technology solutions focused on enhancing the Digital Transformation and AI journey in companies according to the characteristics of their systems and their needs,” said Mário Rachid, Executive Director of Digital Solutions, Claro Empresas.“ By using Oracle Alloy as a platform to become a cloud provider, we prioritize autonomy and total control over the commercial and usage experience, as well as the customization of the solution to meet the specific needs of our markets, including tools to ensure operational control and compliance with regulatory and data sovereignty requirements.”
Claro Empresas provides and operates a qualified data centre environment for its new cloud offering, while Oracle manages the underlying cloud infrastructure, platform services, security, operations and ongoing technology updates. Built on the same core architecture as OCI, Claro cloud is designed to deliver consistent performance, security and availability.
“ Telecommunications operators are becoming true AI factories as they expand their offerings to meet the growing demand from companies for connectivity, data, automation, and computing power,” said Alexandre Colcher, Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Latin America, Oracle.“ By offering its own cloud through Oracle Alloy, Claro Empresas will be able to provide the scale, security and performance of OCI on a locally operated platform backed by its expertise in enterprise infrastructure and services.”
Beyond technology, this collaboration establishes a foundation for long-term innovation, increased productivity, digital inclusion and economic growth across various sectors. Claro cloud will expand access to sovereign AI resources in Brazil and help more organisations develop, operate and scale digital solutions with confidence. •
