Bosch and Qualcomm partner to accelerate Industry 4.0 and Edge AI innovation in Brazil
Bosch has announced a strategic collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to accelerate Digital Transformation across its manufacturing operations and industrial projects in Brazil through advanced Industry 4.0 technologies.
The partnership will focus on deploying Edge AI solutions in industrial environments, enabling artificial intelligence processing directly on connected devices rather than relying on cloud infrastructure. The approach delivers faster response times, improved privacy, lower latency and greater resilience when Internet connectivity is limited.
Bosch also plans to use Qualcomm technologies to enhance computer vision for production line quality control alongside advanced monitoring and inspection systems designed to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing accuracy.
Sidnei Silva, Head of the Bosch Digital Factory, said the collaboration combines the strengths of both companies to deliver complementary software and hardware solutions while expanding strategic capabilities and accelerating the development of innovative industrial applications.
Beyond manufacturing, the agreement supports digital skills development in Brazil.
