With a trajectory of almost two decades at Gartner and a very consistent growth history ahead of the operation in Brazil, where he most recently served as Country Manager, Velloso begins this new phase with the commitment to expand the reach, relevance and impact of technology and AI on a regional scale, increasing the competitiveness of Latin American companies in the private sector and strengthening the capacity of governments to enable public policies and offer more efficient, digital and intelligent services to citizens.

In the new position, Velloso will be responsible for the entire operation aimed at organisations that buy technology – Public and Private sectors( large, medium and small companies) – as well as for the ecosystem of‘ High Tech’ companies that develop and provide technological solutions.

His focus will be on expanding the successful model developed in Brazil, as well as Gartner’ s impact across the region, helping organisations transform their technology investments into concrete financial and operational results, aligned with their strategic priorities.

Cesar Velloso joined Gartner in 2007 and has built a career marked by consistent growth and strong results orientation. Throughout his career, he has also held positions as Director of Business Development, Regional Director of Sales, Area Vice President and Regional Vice President of Sales at Gartner.

He developed a team of specialised and highperformance leaders and executives, expanding Gartner’ s presence to the different regions of Brazil, building a solid and loyal base of public and private sector clients in their different industries. •
