Within the framework of the agreement, both companies will maintain a strategic alliance that will allow Telefónica Tech to continue serving multinational customers in the region, while reinforcing its strategic and operational focus. The acquisition is a key move for hiberus’ growth in Latin America and accelerates its value proposition in cybersecurity and cloud.

The operation will be carried out guaranteeing the continuity of labour and contractual relations, in accordance with current regulations and without impact on the services that Telefónica Tech provides to its multinational customers. This approach is designed to ensure stability for employees and customers throughout the transition period, while maintaining operational consistency across markets.

In this context, the Digital Operations Center( DOC) in Colombia will continue to be part of Telefónica Tech, operating normally, providing service to customers within its footprint and ensuring the same levels of quality, availability and operational excellence. The DOC plays a central role in supporting regional customers and maintaining service standards aligned with Telefónica Tech’ s global operations.

With this measure, Telefónica Tech advances in its growth and organisational simplification strategy, reinforcing its focus on digital and technological solutions with greater added value for companies.

This strategy is aligned with its main markets for the Telefónica Group: Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil, where the company continues to prioritise scalable and high-value digital services.

This acquisition allows hiberus to consolidate its presence in Latin America, expand its expansion in key markets and enhance its capabilities in strategic areas. In this way, it is positioned as a benchmark company in the region and consolidates its position to provide service to North America, strengthening its international footprint.
