Tricentis expands to LATAM to accelerate advancements in AI-powered software testing

Tricentis research finds 75 % of Latin American companies ship code changes without fully testing them, compromising quality and efficiency and underscoring the urgency for advanced software testing solutions in the region.

Tricentis, a global leader in continuous testing and quality engineering, has expanded in Latin America as the company continues its efforts in bringing its AI-powered quality engineering solutions to market worldwide, helping businesses across industries reduce risk, accelerate transformation and deliver software at speed and scale.

This announcement marks a significant milestone for Tricentis as the company prioritizes its mission of providing global businesses with the tools and capabilities they need for their software delivery and modernization efforts. The company aims to maximize impact and capture key market opportunities for growth through a robust ecosystem of channels and talent to drive success, with an accelerated focus on expanding its partner network.
Tricentis’ investment in LATAM comes at a critical moment in which the region is experiencing high-growth and demand in technological advancements and innovation, particularly within the realm of AI. Tonatiuh Barradas, newly appointed Vice President of Latin America, Tricentis, said:“ Latin America is a dynamic and fast-growing technology market, with an increasingly critical focus on digital transformation efforts across industries,” said Barradas.
“ I am thrilled to join Tricentis as the company provides businesses with the strategies and AI-powered quality engineering solutions they need to elevate their software testing and delivery processes in a market that is experiencing substantial growth and adoption across industries.”
A global survey conducted by Tricentis with over 2,700 CTOs, CIOs, DevOps and QA practitioners and leaders and software developers reveals that agility in software development and deployment is a top priority in the region. Tricentis’ investment in LATAM directly addresses this demand, as over half of Latin American professionals surveyed identify accelerating software development as their main challenge, while 48 % emphasize the need to improve quality – and 44 % seek to automate manual processes.
With 75 % of tech professionals surveyed in Latin America admitting they do not perform all the necessary tests to ensure software quality, this lack of proper testing has led 70 % of Latin American companies to experience project delays and increased operational costs due to insufficient test coverage. Tricentis aims to fill this gap, specifically providing solutions for software development professionals and teams that use AI for speed and efficiency.
“ As organizations grapple with the decision to release untested code in the name of speed, we’ re entering Latin America to help them make their software quality engineering processes faster and more reliable,” said Kevin Thompson, Chief Executive Officer, Tricentis.
“ By automating manual tasks, we free up software development teams to focus on strategic initiatives. It’ s a decisive moment for digital transformation, and we want to deliver quality, governance and tangible results for our customers to help them realize their business transformation goals.” p
