“ Tikva is not just a network; it’ s a symbol of hope and progress,” said Simon Masri, President of C3ntro Telecom.“ This project embodies our commitment to bridging borders with technology and empowering businesses with world-class connectivity. We are proud to have one of the world’ s largest hyperscalers already contractually committed, which underscores the confidence in our vision. With Tikva, we are redefining what’ s possible in digital infrastructure across Mexico and the United States.”
The Tikva Project will feature 29 intermediate landing points( ILAs / PoPs) across key cities in Mexico and the US, including edge data center capabilities, ensuring robust local data delivery along its route. It also introduces a new diverse cross-border connection via Nogales – further strengthening regional resilience.
As C3ntro celebrates over three decades of innovation in telecommunications, the Tikva Project is said to underscore its leadership in advancing global connectivity. By uniting two major data center regions with cutting-edge infrastructure, C3ntro is setting a new benchmark for excellence in fiber networks. p
The Tikva Project: Key Highlights
• Unprecedented Scale: A 2,500-kilometer fiber optic network traversing a diverse Pacific route through Mexico with multi-duct capacity.
• Cutting-Edge Technology: Hyperscaleclass fiber quality designed to support AI-driven applications and next-generation connectivity needs.
• Strategic Connectivity: Links Phoenix’ s booming data center market with Querétaro’ s established ecosystem, covering the most important cities on the Pacific side of Mexico and providing express routes to major cities along the corridor.
• Enhanced Reliability: Underground installations and redundant cross-border connectivity safeguard infrastructure while maintaining low latency.
• Future-Ready Design: One SLA and a single provider across countries ensure simplified service and scalability for customers as demands for digital services and AI workloads grow.
The Tikva Project: Background
In March 2025, C3ntro Telecom announced a groundbreaking firsttime expansion into the US with an AI-powered fiber network. Then, the expansion, which began construction in January 2025 in the Phoenix metro area, was said to C3ntro’ s commitment to supporting the increasing demand for AI-driven data centers and global connectivity.
With a proven track record of deploying over 3,000 km of dark fiber across major Mexican cities like Mexico City, Querétaro, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Puebla and Cancun, C3ntro is now bringing its expertise to one of the world’ s most competitive telecom markets.
The company has played a pivotal role in the transformation of Querétaro as a premier data center hub in the region through the deployment of a new robust and diverse fiber routes and an advanced Data Center Interconnect network that links more than 20 data centers, providing hyperscalers, cloud service providers and enterprises with what’ s pitched as seamless, high-capacity connectivity.
C3ntro now aims to replicate this success in Phoenix by interconnecting key data centers with multiple conduits and enabling a robust digital ecosystem.
Phoenix is rapidly becoming a major data center market in North America, with one of the highest growth rates in new deployments. Its strategic location, abundant energy resources and favorable business environment make it a prime destination for hyperscalers and cloud providers looking to expand their footprint.
C3ntro’ s expansion into Phoenix to establish a state-of-the-art fiber network will support the region’ s booming demand for highcapacity, low-latency connectivity
“ Expanding our operations into the US is a proud and pivotal moment for C3ntro Telecom,” said Simon Masri, President, C3ntro Telecom.
“ Entering one of the fastest growing data center markets in the world is not just a milestone but a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence. This step reflects our mission to provide world-class connectivity and solutions for our customers and partners. We are proud to bring our three decades of expertise and innovation to the US market.”
As the company celebrates its 30th anniversary, this significant investment into the Phoenix, Arizona, market reinforces C3ntro’ s vision of delivering reliable, high-quality and innovative network solutions – positioning itself as a key player in the U. S. fiber infrastructure landscape.
