The new offering is a unique combination of IoT devices , Big Data and AI capabilities – all stored in the Cloud .

The Smart Silo is pitched as presenting the necessary indicators for the control of environmental conditions of the grain storage sites , enabling greater quality and durability , in addition to avoiding losses and possible accidents caused by the emission of gases by the grains or by human errors .

Developed in partnership with Telemática Sistemas Inteligentes , the Smart Silo claims much more accurate and broader measurements of the indicators necessary for the storage of grains in silos to be carried out successfully . Among the indicators are the quality of the grain – by measuring the concentration of CO 2 in the silo – volume and tonnage , temperature – using only sensors without the need for cables – and humidity levels . The collected data is recorded on a web platform to allow access to information in real time .

This data generates insights and alerts that are critical to the day-to-day decision-making process of storage .

In this way , producers can have more efficiency in operations , with traceability and quality assurance of production , as well as optimization and operational and logistical planning .

The control panel shows information in real time and as an online self-diagnosis system capable of issuing alerts in the face of changes in parameters that are out of the routine .

By recognizing metrics higher or lower than what is considered ideal for each product , Smart Silo automatically notifies grain producers so they don ’ t experience crop losses .
