Stracci Group benefits from TIM ’ s 4G network
Agricultural company the Stracci Group is set to benefit from improved connectivity through its deployment of TIM ’ s 4G network on its 5,200-hectare property .
The Stracci Group , founded in the 1980s in Barreiras , Brazil , has been actively involved in agricultural and livestock production for nearly 40 years .
“ This technological advance has created greater efficiency and can cause a revolution in agribusiness . This is because the Internet allows greater control of machinery and access to important information , such as pest containment and weather forecasts .”
The primary goal of its partnership with TIM is to enhance operational performance , increase productivity and reduce costs .
By implementing the 4G network , the project will enable monitoring of grain production , electric fence surveillance for cattle , water monitoring and feeding management of the herd .
These initiatives were already being implemented by the Stracci Group , but it required the activation of the 4G signal to become viable .
