The Presidency of the Dominican Republic, through the General Directorate of Contributions, issued the country’ s first electronic pass as part of its strategy to modernize and strengthen national security.
The new document was developed in partnership with Thales, a leader in advanced technologies for Defense, Aerospace, Cybersecurity and Digital, and Midas Dominicana, a Dominican company specialized in the integral management of technological projects in the region.
The project introduces and personalizes the country’ s electronic contributions, using advanced technologies to guarantee the authenticity and protection of each document, at the same time that strengthens the national identity system and improves the security and efficiency of the journeys.
