Executive summary

The Global Enterprise AI Survey 2025 looks at the rise and rapid adoption of agentic artificial intelligence( AI). This shift isn’ t just a tech trend – it represents a change in how firms operate, compete and grow. In this report, we drew on global CEO, CTO and senior IT leader insights and learned that AI is already delivering tangible benefits, from optimizing operations and improving decision-making to driving cost efficiencies. Yet these advancements come with a caveat: to maximize AI’ s potential, it must be carefully managed.

The pace of AI adoption is surpassing any previous tech revolution. In less than a decade, the notion of technology making autonomous decisions – at work or home – has shifted from being unsettling to widely accepted. Today, digital workers are the norm, and agentic AI is emerging as the next key tool for the enterprise. According to our survey, 29 % of organizations are already using agentic AI for autonomous automation, while 44 % plan to implement it within the next year. An overwhelming 84 % of business leaders recognize AI’ s potential to disrupt traditional practices and unlock innovative ways of working.
