Cobre becomes the first platform to enable real-time interbank B2B payments in Colombia

Cobre, a leading platform for real-time business payments in Latin America, has announced that from September it will become the first participant in Colombia’ s financial system to enable instant interbank payments exclusively for businesses.
As a long-time advocate of financial digitalization in Colombia, Cobre will accelerate adoption of the new interoperable real-time payment system for businesses under the Bre-B framework, transforming how money moves across the country.
This new functionality will allow companies to use payment aliases( keys) to receive instant, interoperable transfers without altering their existing accounting flows or payment systems. Ascenty launches the first Oracle Solution Center satellite site in Latin America
Ascenty, an Oracle partner providing data center and connectivity services in Latin America, has announced the launch of the region’ s first Oracle Solution Center( OSC) satellite site as part of Oracle Customer Success Services.
Hosted at its data center in Vinhedo, São Paulo, the OSC facility will enable customers to design, architect and validate their Oracle Cloud solutions in a secure, scalable and interoperable environment.
Ascenty is a joint venture between Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure, and this initiative reinforces the company’ s commitment to supporting high-performance hybrid environments, with a focus on innovation, integration and customer proximity.
As part of Oracle Customer Success Services, the OSC satellite site was designed to help customers quickly validate architecture and improve the performance of workloads spanning on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments. It serves as an extension of OSC units in São Paulo and Mexico City, enabling tests and demonstrations with lower latency and better alignment to customer scenarios.
