Infogain has opened a new office in Montevideo, expanding its AI-enabled delivery capabilities for its global customers.
The new office, at the World Trade Center, Montevideo, is pitched as a key milestone in Infogain Uruguay’ s evolution as the regional delivery center for Latin America.
“ Latin America’ s digital landscape has rapidly advanced in recent years, positioning the region as a backbone of the global technology revolution. We have moved from strength to strength since the opening of our first office in 2022 and this new center is a great addition to meet the growing demand for AI-powered, experience-centric digital transformation for our clients across the region and beyond,” said Marcelo Marino, Head of Uruguay Delivery Center, Infogain.
SaaS platform Simetrik – which automates financial processes and reconciliation for banks, fintechs and acquirers, has raised US $ 30 million in a new round led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives Growth Equity.
The investment – bringing total Series B to US $ 85 million – will be used to accelerate the company’ s international expansion, with a focus on the United States and Brazil, which will receive 25 % of the amount raised.
The resources, raised with the participation of funds such as Cometa, FinTech Collective, Moore Capital Management, Monashees and Upload Ventures, will be used to expand local operations – reinforced by the hiring of talent, technological improvements to the platform and expansion of the commercial and support areas.

MEXICO
Hospisoft, the Mexican hospital management platform has been acquired by Ecuadorian healthtech Reliv.
Reliv integrates patients, doctors and hospitals through a single platform to streamline healthcare delivery and improve the patient experience.
The acquisition aims to enhance interoperability across clinics, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies and medical offices across Mexico with Reliv, founded in 2015, targeting the reduction of hospital admission and discharge times by up to 80 %, supporting over 300,000 medical appointments per month, digitizing 10,000 doctors and facilitating over 200,000 hospital admissions monthly.
Hospisoft has a long history in Mexico with its hospital management platform used by dozens of public and private institutions. It is the healthcare technology company with the largest hospital presence in the country.
Hospisoft’ s system – formerly known as SiHO – has been adopted by more than 70 clinics and hospitals.
“ We have made very important progress in Brazil and we are certain that it will become our main market in Latin America in the near future,” said Alejandro Casas, Co-founder and CEO, Simetrik.

CHILE
Mine Vision Systems( MVS) has announced a new strategic alliance with TechMinings, an established mining technology partner based in Santiago, Chile.
TechMinings has established relationships with major mining operations in the LATAM region. The alliance will immediately expand MVS’ s presence with Tier 1 mines in Chile and Peru.
“ TechMinings will bring proven expertise to help our customers identify areas for improvement and implement our technology to achieve greater productivity, safety and cost reduction,” said Josh Martin, Chief Revenue Officer, MVS.“ Their emphasis on on-site technical excellence complements our own approach and extends our ability to drive outsized production impact for our customers in South America.”
