Cloudflare consolidates its presence in Mexico

Cloudflare has confirmed steady growth in the Mexican market , following a year of investment and expansion .

Since expanding its Latin American operations in Mexico City a year ago , Cloudflare has increased its network infrastructure in Mexico with a new data center in Guadalajara , as well as increasing its integrations with the region ’ s leading customers and partners and establishing a strong cross-functional employee base .
This past quarter , Cloudflare served an average of 50 billion Internet requests per day in Mexico . At the same time , the volume of cyberattacks and their sophistication are constantly increasing . In the third quarter of 2024 , Cloudflare blocked an average of 99 million cyber threats per day , which were targeting Mexico , a 35 % increase compared to the previous quarter . In the context of a landscape as complex as this one , organizations throughout Mexico face a series of weaknesses , due to siloed cloud solutions that hinder creation , scalability and security .
