Chilean fintech Facto has been acquired by Koywe to target the North American market .
Founded in 2021 , Facto processes over $ 1.2 bn in transactions annually . Koywe , itself a Chilean paytech start up , paid an undisclosed amount for Facto .
Crowdfunding startup Crowder is up and running after its operational authorisation from the Central Bank of Uruguay ( BCU ) in January .
The platform can now enable investments after almost three years of work said CEO and Co-founder Guillermo Rodríguez .
With the acquisition , Koywe aims to leverage the experience of Facto founder Mickle Foretic in the Business Payments Coalition of the US Federal Reserve to launch a new invoicing standard in the US .
Koywe offers cross-border payments through crypto and Facto helps SMBs integrate its online sales tech with a standardized payment and invoicing solution .
Crowder is pitched as a ‘ small stock exchange ’ connecting individual or institutional investors with projects that need financing – offering shares or negotiable obligations in exchange .
Investing through Crowder requires registration on the platform with Crowder carrying out compliance analysis .
Once accepted , users can start investing in the companies listed on the platform .

Brazilian startup CRMBonus has raised $ 78M in a Series B round .
The round was led by BOND in its first investment in Brazil – Valor Capital , Softbank , Riverwood , and Igah Ventures also participated .
CRMBonus is an B2B AI-powered platform helping helps companies attract , retain and engage with customers through a variety of solutions .

GigNet is to provide high-speed broadband to Grupo Xcaret Parks and Hotels in the Mexican Caribbean .
