LATEST REGIONAL PROJECT UPDATE
ODATA has launched DC ST02 – its second hyperscale data center located in San Bernardo , Chile .
This new facility marks a significant step in the company ’ s strategic development within the region , boosting its total IT capacity in Chile to an estimated 80MW and solidifying its standing as a leader in the LATAM data center market .
Running on contracted renewable energy , DC ST02 is designed to provide up to 40.6 MW of IT load capacity and encompasses roughly 366,000 square feet .
The facility boasts a dedicated on-site substation and 60MVA of utility power , supplied by dual feeds to the data center , which ensures high reliability and redundant electrical power to support the continuous operations of mission-critical customer applications .
In addition to the new DC ST02 , ODATA is also expanding its existing DC ST01 data center campus with the construction of a second building – enhancing its footprint in Chile .
Globant is celebrating 20-year journey from Argentina to Wall Street with a series of events , the celebration featured a recreation of the bar where Globant ’ s initial idea was conceived .
Founded in Argentina in 2003 by Martín Migoya , Nestor Nocetti , Martín Umarán and Guibert Englebienne , the company rounded off a year that saw it recognized as one of the 100 fastest-growing companies by Fortune .

The anniversary was celebrated at the New York Stock Exchange ( NYSE ) building , where guests joined the founders to see Downtown Matias – the Buenos Aires bar where the co-founders came up with the idea for Globant – recreated in front of the building .

EL SALVADOR
Google Cloud and the government of El Salvador have announced a multi-year agreement to aid El Salvador in its ambition to be a tech hub in Central America .
Lexmark offered a live demonstration showcasing the innovative capabilities of the new A4 and A4 Series , A4 color and blackand-white printers and multifunction devices focused on sustainability , incorporating enhanced security features , compatible with scalable , high-performance solutions . The devices reach monthly print volumes of up to 10,000 pages ( color ) or 20,000 pages ( monochrome ).
Under mutually agreed conditions , Google Cloud has plans to establish a legal entity and a Google Cloud office in the Republic of El Salvador .
They will also launch a Google Distributed Cloud instance for the country , bringing infrastructure closer to where El Salvador ’ s data is generated .

Over this seven-year strategic partnership , pending legislative approval , Google Cloud and the government of El Salvador will collaborate to put cloud tech at the forefront of the nation ’ s modernization in Digital Government , Healthcare and Education .
