According to Tortoise Media ’ s Global Artificial Intelligence Index , the leading economies in the region are beginning to stand out in terms of opportunities to take advantage of AI to be more competitive in software production , taking into account three levels : Investment , innovation and implementation of AI . The United States ( 100 ), followed by China ( 61.5 ), Singapore ( 49.7 ), the United Kingdom ( 41.8 ) and Canada ( 40.3 ) are at the top of the list .

Brazil , the first Latin American country in this index , appears in 35th position , followed by Chile ( 41st ), Colombia ( 48th ), Argentina ( 49th ) and Mexico ( 51st ).

For Latin America , despite having its economies at a low level in terms of the use of AI , compared to the components analyzed in the index , there are significant opportunities for the development of solutions and applications that allow them to take advantage of an innovative and at the same time very competitive market such as the application of AI in their solutions . industry if we consider the number of benefits it generates for both the company and its employees and , most importantly , for users who now get better user experiences by having more advanced developments , at a higher speed and with fewer errors .
