EDITOR ’ S QUESTION

For years , companies have used various simple and complex methods to store data due to challenges related to elements such as database variety , field tags , data capture order , data format uniformity and other options . It has generated one of the hugest complexities associated with tackling a data lake project to use this information for analytics projects .

So , the cloud becomes an excellent alternative for consuming this data , whether structured or unstructured , to give them a logical order and structure and ultimately transform them into data to build dashboards for decision-making .
But how can this be done ?
The architecture defined above provides economic benefits to the user by not having to totally migrate data to the cloud and only using the necessary layer to process and present it . It also allows customers to use Artificial Intelligence , which runs natively in the cloud so that the analytics tool learns and continually improves the quality and accuracy of the information , which cannot be achieved with traditional servers due to their complexity and security concerns in the procedures .
Finally , the cloud generates monitoring and alerts that prevent problems in the data structure and help maintain project integrity if automation and best practices are deployed and aligned with each cloud provider . p
We have tackled projects where the ideal architecture for the client is to leave the data on traditional servers because it is more cost-effective , whether in their offices or a data center service contract with a provider .
Then , we use cloud components under IaaS or PaaS models to perform Extraction , Transformation and Loading and proceed with data model construction based on each business ’ s specific policies . With these tables operating automatically and consuming data from different sources , we can create dashboards in the cloud using user-friendly , flexible components ready for visualization in various ways .
The cloud generates monitoring and alerts that prevent problems in the data structure and help maintain project integrity if automation and best practices are deployed and aligned with each cloud provider .
