WSO2 launches WSO2 API Platform for Kubernetes

Developed on a Kubernetes-native microservices architecture , the next-generation WSO2 APK management platform enables companies to accelerate the delivery of cloud-native applications in their Kubernetes environments .

Kubernetes is the preferred container orchestration platform for most companies developing cloud-native applications . However , their development teams have been held back by the need to manually configure traditional API management solutions , which offer poor performance , scalability and resilience in a Kubernetes environment .
WSO2 is addressing this challenge with the WSO2 API Platform for Kubernetes ( WSO2 APK ). WSO2 APK is a comprehensive management solution designed to leverage the advantages of Kubernetes .
The fully open-source platform connects to the Kubernetes Gateway API specification and seamlessly integrates with Kubernetes ’ robust features , including orchestration , cluster organization with namespaces , scalability , service discovery and more .
As a result , companies using WSO2 APK can optimize their API management practices and workflows while accelerating the delivery of solutions in their Kubernetes environments .
Furthermore , WSO2 APK has a microservices architecture that supports customization and scalability without affecting the overall system . A cloud-native solution with fast startup and low resource consumption , WSO2 APK accommodates demanding requirements even in scenarios with various APIs , allowing companies to handle a wide range of API ecosystems . p
