Claro strengthens its signal around Colombia ’ s Nevado del Ruíz Volcano
and Palestina can keep in touch with the authorities and their families at any time , in addition to providing early warnings of emergencies .
Diego Marín , Regional Director of Claro Colombia , said : “ At Claro we are working with local authorities and the national government to guarantee the provision of a stable service in the department and in the surrounding areas of the Nevado del Ruíz Volcano .
Claro Colombia has announced that it is undertaking efforts to strengthen and broaden its coverage in the areas surrounding the Nevado del Ruiz Volcano , which is located in three municipalities in Caldas .
Additionally , the company has been working in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies ( ICT ) and local authorities to support contingency plans that ensure the continuity of communication services .
The network expansion work carried out by the company seeks to ensure that the inhabitants of parts of Manizales , Chinchiná
“ We have developed an emergency and disaster plan that will attend to any situation that may affect the service , and within the actions the expansion of coverage is being carried out , which will be implemented in the coming weeks .”
Claro has expanded its coverage in 24 rural sectors of Caldas and 17 in Risaralda , in addition to the work carried out in 13 rural areas of Tolima .

Autonomous operation of the SaaS platform enables the operator to benefit from worry-free resiliency and scalability to focus on business needs . As a result , Movil Exito and its customers will enjoy access to new service capabilities .
