XConnect appoints Jose Augusto Vilhena to support growing messaging and voice demand in Latin America
XConnect , a Somos Company and provider of world-class numbering intelligence solutions , has expanded its presence in Latin America ( LATAM ) with the appointment of new Business Development Consultant , Jose Augusto Vilhena .
By growing its on-the-ground footprint in LATAM , XConnect is empowering carriers to tackle the top telecoms challenges , including Origin Based Rating ( OBR ) surcharges , robocalling and Communications Platformas-a-Service ( CPaaS ) fraud .
Vilhena will support XConnect ’ s LATAM customers as the region experiences rapid growth in the telecoms industry . The strategic new hire will enable XConnect to build a strong foothold in LATAM to allow its customers to terminate voice and messaging traffic with confidence and ease .
Previous to his appointment at XConnect , Vilhila worked with technology and telecom organizations ranging from start-ups to multinational companies , including AMDOCS and iconectiv . He brings to XConnect over 20 years of international business development and sales experience in the telecom and technology verticals in LATAM .
