Telefónica Móviles El Salvador selects Amdocs as its dedicated charging platform
Amdocs , a leading provider of software and services to communications and media companies , has announced that Telefónica Móviles El Salvador , a company with 24 years in the Salvadoran telecommunications industry , has selected Amdocs Charging as a first step in its business support transformation .

The new solution will upgrade Telefónica Móviles El Salvador ’ s charging systems and its surrounding environment . It will also allow Telefónica Móviles El Salvador to take advantage of new monetization opportunities enabled by 5G and easily expand into additional countries over time using the same charging platform .

Pronatel will implement WiFi Plazas in Piura and Tumbes service of 40Mbps upload and 40Mbps download in squares or public spaces of the beneficiary localities . The service will also have a local digital repository to provide educational material to students in the areas without the need to access the Internet .

Pronatel , an entity attached to the Ministry of Transport and Communications , aims to accelerate the expansion of coverage , access and use of the Internet to generate more opportunities for all .
“ These places will have a 100 % guaranteed speed and a local digital repository to provide educational material to students in the areas , without the need to access the Internet ,” said Naylamp López Guerrero .
