SAP accompanies the Digital Transformation of Banco Galicia processes more flexible , facilitating employee self-management , fostering collaboration and empowering teams and leaders ; access to information in real-time and the automation of tasks ; and also the incorporation of the best practices of the current market .

The transformation of the Human Resources arena is a necessary step on the road to progress for the company , freeing executives from repetitive tasks in order to dedicate more time to reading and interpreting the data of each of their collaborators .

SAP is assisting Banco Galicia with its

Digital Transformation . Currently , Banco Galicia has more than 5,000 employees distributed in around 320 branches . For over a decade , the organization had used a tool that no longer responds to the needs related to Human Resources .
Banco Galicia has implemented a Digital Transformation plan , under a project called ÓrbitaG , which implies an important renewal and incorporation of best practices . Its objective includes the search for a better employee experience ; making the management of Human Resources

USTDA funds port digitalization in Honduras

The US Trade and Development

Agency ( USTDA ) has awarded a technical assistance grant to the Honduran Maritime Chamber of Commerce to help digitalize the country ’ s two largest ports , Puerto Cortés and Puerto San Lorenzo .
USTDA ’ s assistance will help optimize traffic flow and improve the efficiency of the ports . The Honduran Maritime Chamber of Commerce selected New Jerseybased HudsonAnalytix to perform the technical assistance .
“ USTDA is dedicated to partnering with Honduras as it seeks to optimize the efficiency of its ports sector ,” said Enoh T . Ebong , USTDA ’ s Director . “ Digitalization will help its ports meet their high growth potential and have a transformational impact on the sector . US companies offer many of the cutting-edge technologies that can help make this happen .”
Puerto Cortés and Puerto San Lorenzo currently rely on paper-based transactions . The transition to a digital solution will increase the efficiency of their operations and reduce the cost of maritime services . USTDA ’ s grant will fund a roadmap to help the ports transition toward the use of digital technologies to improve their efficiency , throughput , safety and cybersecurity .
Gerardo Guzman , President of the Maritime Chamber of Commerce , noted : “ With USTDA ’ s support for this technical assistance , the Honduran ports sector will be able to continue to modernize and digitalize , supporting the country ’ s maritime trade and enabling the ports to reach new levels of efficiency , throughput and resilience .”
