Globant , a digitally native company focused on reinventing business through innovative technological solutions , has announced the BeKind Tech Fund initiative , the first and only venture fund totally focused on supporting startups looking to deal with the misuse of technology . The initiative started to be disclosed for the Brazilian market , so considering that the country is known as a world cluster of startups , the goal is to motivate the use of BeKind . The US $ 10 million fund , managed by Globant Venture , aims to battle the consequences of technology misuse , such as online abuse and harassment through cyberbullying .
Virtustream , a business and enterprise cloud company from Dell Technologies , has announced that GraceKennedy ( GK ) Foods chose Virtustream Enterprise Cloud to power its growing business SAP workloads . The move transforms GraceKennedy Foods IT systems for continued rapid growth into the future and improves its Disaster Recovery ( DR ) capabilities . It was critical for GK Foods in the cloud selection process due to the exposure of the operations in the Caribbean regarding severe weather risks , including hurricanes and tropical storms . “ Customers like GK Foods value the enterprise-class benefits of our cloud platform and one-hand-to-shake approach ,” said Drew Fassett , SVP and Head of Global Sales at Virtustream .

Ledvance , which has offices in more than 50 countries and businesses in more than 140 territories , is betting on the Colombian market to strengthen its presence in the Andean region , including Ecuador and Peru . “ Colombia is a key market in the Andean area as it is the largest and leading lighting provider . We are confident that we can satisfy unresolved needs based on our knowledge of the lighting industry , trending technologies and the changing needs of direct and indirect customers ,” explained René Galarza , Sales Manager at Ledvance Colombia .
Molex , a manufacturer of devices for automotive technology electronics , data centers , industrial automation , healthcare , 5G and cloud , has opened a new factory in Guadalajara , state of Jalisco , Mexico , to serve the Latin American market . With this new facility , Molex increases its manufacturing capacity by 60,000 square meters to a total of 100,000 square meters . Mike Bloomgren , President of Transport and Industrial Solutions at Molex , said : “ Our history in Mexico spans over 50 years and has given Molex a strong reputation for developing world-class engineering teams and facilities to provide customer-focused solutions .”
