The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina organized a face-toface trade mission of the software sector in Paraguay , consisting of 40 Argentine companies . The Argentinean exportable offer of this business delegation includes specialized software in the IT , finance , insurance , education , agriculture and health sectors . The participating companies are based in the provinces of Buenos Aires , Chaco , Córdoba , Corrientes , Entre Ríos , Formosa , Mendoza , Santa Fe , Tucumán , and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires . The Under secretariat for Trade and Investment Promotion of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the mission .
Colombia is in the middle of a process of energy transition resulting from the approval of CONPES , which establishes public policies to ensure targets set to reduce greenhouse gases by 51 % by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 . The expectation is that the newly elected government will give a further boost to renewable energy by maintaining or improving tax incentives for these projects . Colombia has an electricity generation infrastructure of nearly three thousand solar photovoltaic projects , more than 20 solar parks and three wind farms totaling around 1000 MW of generation , equivalent to an approximate reduction of one million tons of CO 2 emissions .

The Open Innovation OpnX program has launched the ‘ FitCamp OpnX ’ which seeks to connect large corporations that face innovation challenges to emerging technology ventures ( startups ) that can help solve these challenges . Open Innovation OpnX is funded by IDB Lab , executed by the Paraguayan Industrial Union ( UIP ) and the methodological support of Wayra Hispam , the open innovation area and corporate fund of Telefónica Movistar Group in Latin America . OpnX consists of 14 Paraguayan companies – Banco Continental , Asismed , Patria Seguros , Datasystems , Visión Banco , Luminotecnia , Idesa , Mi Tierra , Sallustro , Alex , Grupo von Bargen , Epesa , Agencia Debroca and Copipunto – that will seek innovative technological solutions from local or Latin American entrepreneurs .
The Mexican Congress has begun discussing an initiative to include outer space activities as a priority area for national development . For this , the proposal is to empower the Congress of the Union to legislate on outer space activities . The proposal was submitted by Congressman Jesús Alberto Briano Borunda from the National Regeneration Movement party and was addressed to the Commission on Science , Technology and Innovation . The decisions surrounding this issue will even influence the reform of the nation ’ s constitution to gain economic access to space .
