ARGENTINA
To optimize the management of hospitals and surgical centers , DELMIA Quintiq Workforce Planner , a Dassault Systèmes application , could help across the sector . Widely used in manufacturing , field services , broadcasting stations and by air traffic controllers , DELMIA Quintiq Workforce Planner could enable the creation of modules to meet hospital demands in Brazil , helping to operationalize and control resources and supplies . It would also support the complete visualization of the service chain , facilitating efficient working with new restrictions , behaviors , variables , processes and rules .
MKT Tecnologia , a company specialized in point and access , was selected by the Inter-American Development Bank ( IDB ) to develop a project on the so-called Jesuit Road , serving tourist attractions in Argentina and Uruguay . The company was selected by the Smart Challenge Touristic program with the Wi-Fi . TUR project , which has as its protagonist TemWi-Fi , MKT ’ s Wi-Fi access equipment for large numbers of people that internally stores various content , including in other languages and which can be accessed even without Internet .

COLOMBIA
Banco de la República , Colombia ’ s central bank , together with the IDB Group and Banco Davivienda launched a pilot project that seeks to bring credit bonds , a common financial instrument in the traditional market , to the Blockchain . It is the first initiative of its kind in the country . According to an official statement from Banco de la República , the bonds will be issued , arranged , traded and settled using Blockchain technology through smart contracts for the Colombian securities market . The project seeks to validate the benefits of this new technology in the security lifecycle and is expected to last six months .

FRENCH GUIANA
A Claro satellite was launched into space at the end of the first half of 2021 , from a land base in French Guiana , by the rocket company Arianespace . The new equipment , StarOne D2 , is capable of transmitting Internet and should help the expansion of 4G mobile coverage in Latin America . The equipment will have 28 transponders ( receivers and signal transmitters ) in the C band , another 24 transponders in the Ku band and an additional 20 Gb / s of capacity in the Ka band .
